I was hoping you could quote me a repair on my 2018 Kia Forte LX 2.0. It was taken to the dealership with a check engine light code P0017. The dealership stated that it needed a Camshaft on the exhaust side and a camshaft actuator. However, the quote the sent me was 2030 dollars which I feel is a bit high. I appreciate your help.

Go to a reputable independent mechanic (or two!) and get a second opinion.
Dealerships will charge you the most, of course.
