Hi Scotty,
My friend chris has a 2018 Kia Forte LX that is running just fine. The engine light code says there's an issue with the crankshaft position. The sensors have been replaced, and the codes reset, but the computer still reports there is a problem. The car is running fine, so I can't imagine the timing chain has jumped a notch. Any ideas other than to drive it into the river? Thanks a bunch.

Well if it runs okay just leave it alone. Generally, if it gets that cold and you replace the sensor, it means the timing chain is stretched or that the timing chain tensioner isn't tensioning it enough
