I am looking at a 2018 Lincoln Continental Select AWD, 3.7L 6 cylinder (non-turbo) with a little over 10,000 miles. Besides the water pump being a costly repair, what are the pitfalls on this model and it’s probability to last?

Lincolns are luxury cars, which means waaaaay too much stuff to break as it ages. All kinds of gadgets and motors and computers ...
AWD means more driveline maintenance ($$$) and thousands of bucks to fix something when it breaks/wears out.
Besides the water pump being a costly repair
it's not just costly. It's prone to failure, and when it does, it takes the entire engine (which means probably the whole car) with it. There were lawsuits about it , which of course Ford ignored and never recalled.
This alone would 100% be a deal breaker for me.
