Kindly asking for your expert advice regarding my mazda 3.
Model: 2018 mazda 3 2.0 AT (Philippines)
Concern: Delayed shifting from 1st to 2nd gear, takes almost 2000 rpm before shifting even on light throttle / traffic. No obd codes. No check engine light. Accelerates slower than before issue appeared. Already change atf and filter. Throttle body is clean.
Sometimes, even when pedal is released, rpm stays at 1500 before going down 1000 rpm.
Well try my video. Make your car run better with a little spray cleaner. If the throttle is sticking it's going to make it shift. Weird to pray it's that and not the transmission wearing internally
What’s the millage?
I wonder if it’s running the latest software? I know the CX-30 had similar issues (improper “shift logic”) that have been partially resolved with a TCM update
Also, I’d recommend re-doing the adaptation procedure.
And checking that the fluid level is correct using the small little plastic dipstick located on top of the gearbox case (people thing that this is a dip stick-less car, but it does have one)
