[Solved] 2018 or 2021 BMW M240i RWD

Should I get a used 2018 BMW M240i with 11,700 miles on it from a private seller asking $39k or a 2021 BMW M240i with 15,575 miles from a dealer asking $43k. I did some research for recalls and complaints on NHSTA and did not find any recalls but a few complaints for headliner and seatbelt. Both are RWD with inline 6 cylinder turbo. I know Scotty does not like BMWs but I take care of my vehicles and change my own oil  every 5k miles so I don't think these vehicles were too beaten when being driven and they have carafe reports with no damage and service intervals with oil changes at 9k miles each which is what I don't like. Still need to test drive the cars but which model year has more problems or should be wary of when checking them out?

I know Scotty does not like BMWs

He has told why. I don't believe these 2 are any different in terms of reliability. I personally would get 2021 because I prefer last generation years.
