Hi Scotty, my 2019 Camry has what the stealership service department says is a worn universal joint on the steering column and my research on the problem confirms it is the same problem that the 018 has had. The 018 is covered with an extended warranty however mine is not. And lol as you would say I'm mad as hell. I am 64 and have never heard of this problem. Anyway the service dept says $659 Canadian for the part and an hour and a half for the labor. Sounds reasonable and I want them to do it as it might give me more bargaining power with Toyota Canada. Anyway appreciate your thoughts on this and is it even worth arguing with Toyota ca. Seems to me I got the same part as the 018s and they oughta step up and cover it. Thanks Randy

I don't understand. Why does your 4yo car not have warranty?
