2019 Ford Ranger XL/STX 4200 miles on it, automatic.
My position is I have a completely paid for truck above. I am considering purchasing any vehicle. I can afford payments if necessary.
What my goal is, find a vehicle that will last a VERY VERY long time. I am keeping up with oil changes and such already. Is there another truck I should consider trading in this, and purchasing it? I looked at F150s, Hyundai Santa Cruz, Toyota Tundra/Tacoma, Honda. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the ranger, my only concern is when if i hit 100k miles on it. right now that will take 100+ years at my current mileage.
However, if I should be happy with what I have, I am happy. Its paid for, zero debt.

You haven't even reached 10k miles yet (or 5k). As long as you keep up with the maintenance, you won't be having any problems for a while now. Keep driving with what you have.
What you've got not is free and paid for, it works, and you like it. You seemed to be worried about getting something that will cause you stress so why roll the dice? A bird in the hand beats two in the bush ya know? 😉
