I bought a 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer ES CVT a little over a year ago. It only has 78000km and I haven’t had any trouble with it. However, I don’t really like it. The interior is cheap and outdated plus the CVT transmission is incredibly sluggish. I have been thinking about trading for a 2010 Honda Accord coupe, it only has 95000 km and has the 4 clylinder engine (so no timing belt). The new loan I would need would be the same, if not slightly cheaper than the remaining balance on my Lancer loan. If the accord passes mechanic inspection, should I do it?
TMK, the eighth/ninth gen 4 cylinder Accord coupe is a decent vehicle.
EXCEPT for the paint. But I’ll take a mechanically good Accord over one minor cosmetic imperfection. It’s usually the rear C-Pillar where the paint starts to come off.
