Hey scotty my wife has a 2019 honda civic 4 cyl with the cvt transmission she recently had the oil changed at 27000 miles an the tech at vavoline said she should have her transmission fluid changed is this right i herd cvt transmissions are tricky thanks

Never, ever go to a chain shop for any maintenance or repairs. They do more harm than good. Find a good, honest independent mechanic to work on the vehicle.
As for the CVT, the fluid should be changed every 30,000 miles with the OEM fluid.
