Hey scotty, i have a 2019 Honda Civic lx cvt 2.0 liter engine that was made in canada and the cvt was made in mexico. I am looking into POSSIBLY giving my dad my 2019 honda civic and me going to buy myself a 2024 toyota corolla hatchback base model cvt that was made in japan. Is a japan made corolla better then a canada made civic? Also, is the 2.0 liter engine the new corollas have in them just as dependable as hondas 2.0 liter engine? Thanks

If anything, the Toyota engine is even more dependable. And yes, the ones made in Japan are the absolute best. Though the Canadians come in a close second
