Hello thanks for letting Me be a member.

I really need help and I can't afford to tow my car to fix .

I have ford escape 2009 xlt 2.5 320+ k km

I had a symptom of hard to start up with ignition take 4-5 try in couple days .

And then

The other day I was cleaning my air intake filter I removed the battery negative and pulse and 1 switch to have more room To clean. .After cleaning  putting everything  back normally I put in my key to start I have totally no power dead black dash light but my seat will only work .

I got help with a car to car boost and jumper .

Still no sign of electric. I even swap battery test on my friend my battery very good and it's new too.

Still not working.

So I bought test light I check the fuse box

But half of the left side fuse is light up red.

And the 2nd half side is no lights at all .

So I watch your YouTube video and change the ignition switch.

Still no power nothing .

I'm guessing now the 2nd half of fuse box there no power coming in because all the 2nd half fuse is not working I don't believe it can all blow up like that I take the fuse out they good and when I test and Reverse the probe test light the 2nd half side of the fuse is GREEN .

SO I'm thinking the 2nd half power electric power not coming in or main channel of power but I got no idea where is it and what to do next do you think this is seriously or

It's simple but I don't know

Please help me  asap I been having no car 4 days now thanks.

Well Ford's are notorious for having problems with both battery cable assemblies. I find that replacing the two cable assemblies will usually fix that problem because somehow they're shorting out internally and not sending any power or once in awhile. Sending a little power and some of the stuff works. That's where I'd start new cables on both sides
