Hi Scotty, I found two truck with same price, 2024 Nissan Titan 4WD and 2024 Ford F150 STX V8. What is your recommendation to buy?
one of things worrying me about Nissan, if they will discontinue production in 2024, how difficult it will be to get spare parts?
O think this will be general problem for many cars will be discontinued like Dodge charger, challanger, etc.
If you are worried about parts, the F150 is probably the better choice. The F150 is Fords bread and butter. They have to make that thing, otherwise it would go out of business. Nissan has a larger portfolio of cars to pull from. And isn’t so reliant on just the Titan.
Just makes sure it’s the V8. None of that EcoBoost stuff. Curious to hear Scotty’s thoughts.
I would recommend the Nissan for long term reliability since it doesn’t have start/stop or cylinder deactivation.
Go with Nissan. Some Ford vehicles even included belt in oil design which is terribly costly to replace. It’s not a chain so it needs to be replaced periodically. However it will require removing a big part of engine in order to replace that belt.
