I would like to know the best brand and grade of oil to use in the engine. also can you tell me the type of tranny is in it and the oil to use. what type of antifreeze for this japanese vehicle.

Are you referring to the Eclipse Cross SEL S-AWC? I leased an LE S-AWC.
Assuming you are talking E.C., the 1.5L engine takes 0W-20. Any name brand 0W-20 will work.
It has a CVT transmission, and use the fluid recommended in the owners manual.
Any 50/50 antifreeze you want will work. I use Prestone.
