2019 Ram 1500 Big Horn Lifter Noises

Upon starting clicking lifter noises for first 30-60 sec then goes away.  Truck calls for 5w-30 and this last time I put in 20w-30 instead.  Lifter noise doesnt last as long as it did with the thinner oil.  Truck only has 62k miles.  Should I be doing anything else to prevent damages?  I prev had a 2013 ram 1500 Tradesman that I did have to pay for new parts from grinding into cam shaft.  I would like to prevent this from happening again on this newer truck.

Which engine? Are you dealing with the infamous Hemi tick?

@chucktobias Yes this is the 5.7 Hemi V8

If you're hearing a lifter tick the damage has already been done. There's a lot of information online about the Hemi tick problem easily found via internet search, for example:

Bear in mind that an exhaust manifold leak can make a similar noise so you'll want to rule that out before taking any drastic action.
