I hear a whining once my transmission fluid is above 160 degrees and I am going 30mph or higher. I just had the transmission fluid flush and replaced with the new fluid recommended due to shudder. It still shudders but not as much. What could be wrong with my truck?

Your torque converter is probably shot. Chevy is famous for this.

Normally I'd say torque converter but in that year it could be the transmission giving out. They had a lot of problems with them.
