I wouldn't buy a diesel X5, an inline 6 X5 is ok until they get higher mileage where they turn into money pits when all the electronics start to break.
Those Ecodiesel Grand Cherokees are rolling piles of junk, thank god they no longer make diesel Grand Cherokees for the NA market for the latest generation. I would run as far away as you can from that model.
