Need front struts what’s your professional option
Clarification: What is wrong with the vehicle?
The struts are worn out, the mechanic told me the car needs new struts
What's the mileage on the car ?
Was it an independent mechanic or a mechanic at a dealership/auto-repair chain? They usually recommend shock repairs earlier than not.
you could diagnose it yourself by watching this:

From my experience, my used car was recommended a shock replacement every time I took it to a auto-repair chain or tire-shop. I am able to drive it just fine and completed a 850 mile road-trip with the trunk filled with luggage without any handling issues. I suggest taking it to an independent mechanic and have them check it out.
Well you bought a very expensive f sport and that has an extremely complex suspension system you wanted to run right you're going to have to buy those super expensive Lexus struts that generally cost thousands of dollars from my experience
Replace them with OEM parts. Otherwise you're going to be creating ride issues for yourself.
@harb7nger Agreed
Do you notice any issues with the ride? My 2008 GX470 has 170k miles and rides quite good, have you got some kind of crazy high mileage, driving through the outback?
