Please do not buy this vehicle. Buying any new Kia is going to be mistake. Are there any issues with your current car?

Hyundai/Kia quality/reliability has taken a tumble over the decade.  We definitely cannot recommend to buy any of the newer Hyundai Motor Group products.

Not a good idea. Hyundai/Kia reliability wasn't too terrible when your current car was built. (Not great, certainly not in Toyota's league, but not disastrous either.) Their quality took a serious tumble starting about 10 years ago and they have been unable to get back up into the mediocre range. Hyundai/Kia vehicles continue to have more than their fair share of problems with catastrophic engine and drivetrain failure as well as fires, not to mention electrical problems. If your engine fails they will bend over backwards to try weaseling out of their much-advertised 10-year/100K-mile warranty and in the end even if it's honored they will likely install an engine just as bad, possibly even from a junkyard.

Yes, some people will tell you they've made out OK with Hyundais and Kias but statistically you are much more likely to have serious problems than with a Toyota or Honda.

I wouldn't recommend it for a purchase. Hyundai/Kia have terrible reliability.

Kia and Hyundai are the exact opposite of quality; avoid at all costs unless you like spending time at the mechanic shop.

I would run away from that Kia Rio. Kia and Hyundai make a lot of junk and those CVT transmissions IMO are worse than what Nissan puts in their cheaper cars. I have seen more and more of them fail at low mileage (the worst I have seen was a 2020 Soul with 635 miles). I would look into a Honda Fit (used since they don't make them anymore) or if you can drive a manual transmission the Nissan Versa with a stick is not a bad option (don't buy the automatic model).

The Mazda based Toyota Yaris is also a decent option
