2019 Subaru Ascent Noise Help

I used the wires chassis ears and determined that the noise is coming from the passenger side wheel area.  It is a metal clicking noise that happens at 50 mph or higher only.  My thoughts are that if it was a wheel bearing it wouldn’t be clicking but a vibration/huming.  The axle replacement isn’t hard (but a little annoying) should I use an OEM axle that goes for roughly 2.5X the auto parts store or just go Autozone/Oreillys etc.  Thank you for your input

Instead of guessing why not check the bearing and the axle? (I don't know if it's a problem with the Ascent but other Subaru models are known for eating rear wheel bearings.)

Bearings can make various noises including grinding and crunching. But typically you would hear it at low speed as well.

I would get a nice axle for you car since it's still pretty new.

However, CV axle noise is usually more prominent in turns when they are being flexed.
