Scotty , have a 2019 Yaris L sedan that takes 0W-20, it would eat it like crazy mind you its a 22k car (brand new) I put 10W-30 Royal purple , barely eats oil and engine doesn't sound as noisy. don't you think 0W-20 is a little thin to begin with , Im reaching 40mpg with this thing

MAN if your still under warranty I would hit up the dealer BIG TIME!!! If you use what factory recommended it sounds like a big issue. Any major leaks like at the oil filter???

I agree with Porkchophill. You should easily still be under the 36month 36,000 mile Toyota powertrain warranty. Get this issue handled before your aren’t and the heavier weight Royal Purple band aid is no longer effective. The noise is particularly of concern besides oil loss
