I have a 2020 bmw x3m40i and there is a weird whistling noise that occurs sometimes. It is very faint and bmw cannot diagnose it. They replaces the blower motor (with no luck if getting rid of the whistle) and suggested to possible try the drive shaft bearing. It happens every now and then and is very faint. It’s not wind through the mirror like some x3 a have because it happens when stationary. Just wondering if anyone has any idea. Thx

Well, get yourself a good noise detecting machine and go to it. There are many electronic stethoscopes out there. There's also one that's called The Marksman which is an ultrasonic one that often will find noises. But it's pretty expensive
