Is a 2020 Camry SE a good car to buy for my son? I want a new modern car for him. If there are any other suggestions I would be happy to hear them.
Thanks,
Ansel
The 2020 model is still new, so the long term reliability is unknown.
However, if you’re willing to consider used cars, a 4-5yr old Camry might be a much safer bet.
Your options are a similar aged Accord, Corolla or Civic.
If it’s for a teenager, I would recommend only buying used, especially if it’s a new driver.
As with any used car, have it thoroughly checked out by a good mechanic, before you buy it.
I’m afraid I didn’t explain well. My son is 23 Andons going to be a gift for graduation college. I will take your advice though and not but the brand new model. I think a 2017 Camry would be good
Oh my bad. In that case you’ve chosen the perfect car. Go right ahead on the 2017 Camry, after a good mechanic checks out the car thoroughly.
Congratulations to your son on graduating college!
2017 is probably the best modern year for the Camry, go ahead and check those out.
I trust Toyota to buy them brand spanking new.
