My sister had her 2020 ford escape idling in a parking lot of a store and the car turned off by itself with the key still in the run position, she tried starting it but it wont start, no noise of the car even turing over or any noise at all. Screen then showed "vehicle network communication error" anyone know about this, ford dealership took it in and said it will be days till they can perform a diag and told us the car might have loss communication with the brakes and thats why it wont start, but never in my life have i heard that before.

Not the greatest vehicle in the world and the technology that Ford puts them in them makes them worse. When you lose communication like that any sensor wiring or computer circuit failure will trip that code. It could be the one they're guessing at or could be basically hundreds of other things. This is why I tell people to buy Toyotas cuz they're better made and don't have such problems

Just more unreliable electronic junk.
