Hi Everyone,
I'm a crazy teacher that commutes to work and have a 2020 Honda Accord with 135,000 miles on it. I've had the car 4 years now. On Friday, all the warning lights came on at once and I drove it to an Advance Auto and the nicest kid ever checked the battery, alternator, etc. and found nothing wrong. He hooked a tester to the car and 299 error code appeared, turbocharger malfunction. I dropped it off at the Honda dealership and am awaiting a call tomorrow stating the issue. I'm hoping they tell me it's the turbocharger and it has to be replaced, but I have a feeling they're going to give me a laundry list. Please advise.
Love your channel, Scotty!!! Wish I could bring you with me next time I buy a car.
John
Assuming you mean "P0299" there are a number of different things it could be.

I would hope it's not the turobocharger since you're talking $$$$ to replace that. If you're lucky it's just something like the wastegate actuator. You would also be better off taking the car to a good independent mechanic rather than the dealer for any non-warranty work.
Chuck,
Thanks for responding so fast. There's a great independent mechanic across the street. I may bring it to him instead.
