Hello Scotty,
Is there a way to trick/program rain sensing wipers into thinking that a flood is happening or just installing the component that turns the rain sensing function off and makes the wipers work like normal?
I had the windshield on my 2020 RAV4 XLE replaced last year and the rain sensing function has not worked properly since then. They don't detect mist and don't operate at the preset intermittent intervals; it seems that they work on only one speed. I took the car to the dealer and since it was still under warranty they told me that the wipers work perfectly fine. Living in Washington state it's a complete pain dealing with this, definitely the most useless car option out there.
Thanks for the help.

Your car is still under warranty. Have the dealer fix it for free. Do not give up. Realize that whatever you change electronically can (and will) void the warranty you got.
I already had the stealership take a look and they told me that there is nothing wrong with the rain sensing function.
All dealers play this stupid little game. They pretend to be dumb and hope that you give up. You have to lead them by the hand, and hit them over the head with the issue until it's so obvious that they run out of excuses.
Try taking the guy over a to a new Rav4 in the lot, and ask them to sit inside. Take out your spritzer bottle and spray the windshield. Then do the same with your car.
Did you check your owner's manual to see if there's a way to disable it?
I checked the manual and there is no way to disable the sensor.
More high tech! YAY!
