Hi Scotty I have a 2003 mustang gt 4.6 l with 100k miles. Lately the rpm’s have been running high at idle when I start the car. when the car is driving the rpm’s will drop down lower then normal and the car will die. Any ideas of what I could do to fix it.

Run a scan and check for codes. Do the easy stuff; check the air cleaner, MAF sensor, how old are the plugs, etc. Have you ever changed out the fuel filter in 100,000 miles?
