My 2021 Corolla LE came with tint on all 4 door windows and the rear window. Did Toyota do this or did the dealership do this? If the dealer did this, why would they?
take a look at your window sticker. to the right of it they may have put what many call a "ripoff" sticker with dealer add ons, these add ons are a complete rip off and over charge for things that you can get for hundreds less elsewhere... so if the fronts are tinted more than likely it was done at the dealer and you paid for it. I am unsure if the rear has privacy glass from the factory or not... but i am 100% sure the fronts were not tinted at the factory.
Not likely the dealership would tint the windows.
New cars just have much darker factory tinting than the old days.
It must be a selling feature.
