Hi Scotty,
I have a question on how to wire an after market switch to open a rear electric liftgate for Toyota RAV4 2021 that I installed my self. It work perfectly, but the button doesn't illuminate when I turn the head light. I don't one want to cut the original wire. Should I use the fuse tap to connect the fuse box?
If you can, please explain how do I source out the correct wire (position/ Color of the wire) to tap to the fuse tap. The switch have only two colors black and red. Its a plug and play eletric liftgate.

Sure use a fuse tab that's perfectly fine just make sure that it is power when you turn the key on and no power when you turn the key off
