Hi Scotty, I'm looking for a small suv, wondering if I should buy 2021 kia seltos 2.0 with cvt transmission awd or the seltos with 1.6 turbo engine and double clutch transmission. I test drove them both and I liked that naturally aspirated engine 2.0 with cvt, awd, good on gas and drives smooth. What do you think?
Personally, I’d stay away from CVT and dual clutch transmissions esp. on Hyundai/Kia products if you want minimal fuss and longevity.
If you like the Naturally Aspirated then get that one because I don't trust Hyundai would make a decent turbo engine the DCT is not that well made neither is the CVT honestly if you want it to last more than 100k miles, you should look elsewhere, like a CR-V, Rav4, or CX-5.
