2021 Subaru STI "chirping"

Hi Scotty!

I have a 2021 Subaru STI. It is 3 months old with 4k miles.

Ever since I bought the car, it is making a chirping noise going into gear.  Those gears specifically being 1st, 2nd and reverse. It also makes this noise when coasting and re-engaging said gears.

The noise almost identically sounds like a fire alarm with low battery.

I've taken it to the dealership and they claim they do not hear it of course

I also have a video recording of it happening.

I uploaded it to my YouTube channel so that you could take a look if you have time.

Thanks so much! Have a wonderful day!

DEMAND action from the dealer, they are all deaf and blind when it comes to recognizing your problems.

It's under warranty, keep at them. You could also try another dealer if there's one in your area, you don't have to take it back to where you bought it for warranty work or maintenance. Get Subaru corporate involved if need be.

Weird

Sounds like a belt, but I can’t imagine belt noise on gear shifts.
common things are common: Subaru clutches are notoriously rough for the first few thousand miles, so it could be there (if so, will get better)
