I recently purchased a 2021 Toyota Corolla and it did not come with a "Beauty cover" as you like to call them. Apparently, the newer vehicles don't have them anymore. Are they really not that important? There is a mess of crap on top of the engine.

In general those covers are supposed to reduce engine noise and protect the engine from dust, debris, etc. while adding a cleaner look to the engine bay. Interesting that they didn’t offer it. I know Scotty hates them, and I personally like to see the engine when I lift the hood.
