Hello Scotty,
I own a 2021 Toyota Highlander XSE (non-hybrid) with 5000 miles. Should I do the first oil change at 5,000 miles or go by what Toyota advises and do the first oil change at 10,000 miles. What would be your advise/suggestion. I thank you on advance for your time.

Changing your oil every 5k miles is cheap insurance and a lot cheaper than buying an extended warranty.

We're not waiting until 10k on our 2021 Corolla SE. Will be changing every 5k regardless what the dealer says.
