Hello in a few years when I get another vehicle I was thinking about a Ford Maverick but Im not sure if the 2.0 L turbocharged engine is a good engine or not since it's an Ecoboost engine

TLDR: It's not.

It's the same 2.0 EcoBoost we know and "love", but this time with even more boost.

As if more mechanical stress what was exactly needed on a crappy 4 cylinder that didn't last anyway...

Avoid it that pile of junk.

Trust me either get a 2017+ 3.5 "they fixed the timing chain and it's been refined since 2011 and my buddy's have had no problems with there's at 250,000" or a 5.0, my dad got a 5.0 to 350,000 miles still no problems, or you could find one with a 2.3 they've been making them since 84 and my cousins 04 got to 600,000 when the trans went out.

This has already been discussed numerous times if you do a search on our forum.  In short, avoid the Ford Maverick (which is also made in Mexico).
