Hi Scotty,
I am looking to purchase a new vehicle in the next few months. I have narrowed it down to either a 4Runner 2wd SR5 Premium or a Honda Accord Sport 2.0 liter engine. I would prefer the Accord but I am concerned about oil dilution in the engine. I watched your video on the 1.5 liter engine and your recommendation to avoid it. I was wondering if you still recommend the 2.0 liter engine and the Honda Accord? I do like the way the 4Runner looks and I appreciate the lack of intrusive safety gadgets, but I am not crazy about the poor gas mileage and the lack of driving excitement. I should add that I do not intend to take it off-roading. I am one of those people who keeps their vehicle for over 10 years so I am looking for reliability. Any thoughts you can share on the two would be greatly appreciated.

If you're interested in how it looks and "driving excitement" why do you care about mechanical reliability? I'd go with the 4Runner.
If you decide to go with the Honda watch this video; Scotty talks about Honda having fixed the issue with oil dilution and recommended oil for it. But the 4runner is an amazing car and if you go with something like this then you shouldn't care about gas mileage.
