Should I worry about speedometer conspiracy?

My wife drives a  2022 Hyundai Asante Fei with now 46000 km on it(we bought the vehicle new in 2022(January).Pretty high for the wife’s driving to and from work and driving the kids to and from sport activities.When I was driving this vehicle one day and using the waves app on the car,I set the cruise control at 110 km and the waves app was saying that our speed was 108 km.

The question that I have for you is this;

If the vehicle is off by 2 kms difference,will that affect the odometer reading a little faster?
Tires are proper size recommended by the dealer.

Iam just wondering this cause if it does affect the odometer reading-this will in return get me to the warranty quicker

Stop worrying about it.

Speedometers are designed to over-read, by a fraction.

It may help you with speed cameras, too.

2 km per hour, to be precise.

not necessarily.

Next time you go on a long trip, compare the odometer to the trip distance given by your navigation.

Keep in mind that neither the speedometer or odometer were not meant to be precision lab instruments. The margin of error is pretty high.
