What do you think about the latest Mazda Miata naturally aspirated 4 cylinder engine and 6 speed manual transmission?

For a Mazda, that is as good a powertrain combo as you can get. Those are solid vehicles with a proven track record.
As long as you fit and comfortable driving in it, go for it. For me, I could never drive it as a daily: too small, perhaps unsafe, and hardly any room for cargo. Vehicles like that make more sense as a weekend toy.
