OK- I am considering the 2022 outback wilderness. Can anyone tell me if the Jocko transmissions are used in this new model coming out? If so, I think I have my answer on whether to keep considering it. Thanks. JP
Everything I've read about it says that Subaru's CVT is the only available transmission in those.
Subaru (owned by Fuji Heavy Industries) makes their own CVTs in-house, not Jatco. See below: scroll down to ‘In-house production at Fuji Heavy Industries’. Now the former Subaru conventional automatics were based on Jatco designs.

Ah, I was wondering what "Jocko" meant, thought maybe it was something new! I actually started trying search engines to find out about those new Jocko transmissions! {pear}:nerd:
It is all good.
Thanks for the helpful information/links /DayWalker. JP
No available transmission options except for the Subaru CVT.
Yep. This is sad. Thanks everyone. JP
