2022 Volvo S60

I am currently leasing a 2022 Volvo S60 T5 with the mild hybrid system. I am considering buying it at the end of the lease if the residual is below market value and I can get a CPO warranty. Since I am the one who had the car for the entirety of its life, I know it will have been well taken care of. That being said, is a well taken care of Volvo S60 reliable? Scotty says Geely, Volvos parent company, are very good at building hybrids and electric vehicles.

I would be careful with volvos. Volvos can be expensive in repairs and the computering can be very complex. I would just keep the lease as is and not buy it out.

Gasoline Volvos get expensive in repairs when they get around 150k miles. You add hybrid system to that and you expect to spend more with less reliability.

Nah I would not buy it out, just lease a new one every few years and just enjoy the car. If it was a Volvo EV, it could be an OK idea, since my parents bought out their 2017 focus electric after the lease ended since new EVs were expensive.
