So price isn't an issue and it's not a determining factor in my decision. I also don't plan on doing off-roading etc. I just liked the style of these two trims over the other available trims which is why I'm trying to decide between these two. Between the TRD Pro and the 40th Anniversary Special Edition which one is a better option? Is there anything about either one that would make them a better choice?
This is more of a personal choice. How many gizmos and gadgets do you want? What colors do you want on the exterior and interior? If pricing isn't an issue for you, then go for the top trim level.
Thanks. Do you think the TRD Pro is worth the extra money for what they're offering? I guess sometimes having too many options isn't good either.
Yes.
Ask if they have different suspension setups, and/or test drive both. One may have stiffer suspension yielding a less comfortable ride.
When my brother bought his silverado, he was first drawn to the Z71 Silverado, but after test driving it and feeling the rougher suspension, he didn't want that trim anymore.
An 4WD SR5 Premium is already $45K and is plenty capable off-road. It is a part-time system though, so you need to turn on 4WD yourself when you need to use it.
True but like I said price isn't an issue and I don't even want to do off-roading and I'm just buying the style I like hence trying to decide between the two styles I like.
In that case, I would go for the TRD Pro for the JBL audio as you can't get it on the 40th Anniversary Edition.
