2023 Toyota Tundra Trd Pro. Is it worth it?

Hey, I’m in the market for a new truck and I want something reliable that will last me a long time and hopefully not give me many troubles. I was wondering if getting the 2023 Trd Pro tundra is a good option. There have been so many different opinions that I just don’t know if it is a good choice considering it being a twin turbo hybrid v6 engine. I was wondering if you could give me some advice on if I should get this truck or not.

Welcome new poster.  Nobody is crazy about the twin turbo 6 on the Tundra, and it will be a few years before we will know much.  But the Tundra nameplate has been the benchmark in reliability for most of the last 20 years; now that they’ve had a year or so to work the bugs out, it should be fine.  I doubt anything else is more reliable.

That said, if reliability is what you’re after, skip the hybrid.  Get an SR5 or limited with the regular iForce engine and use the $$ savings to install your own lift kit and off road tires.  The wait list will be a lot shorter too.
