Hi Scotty!
If you had to purchase a new AWD or 4WD vehicle what would it be? Would you consider any left over 2023's?
@imperator gives a good description, the terms are used interchangeably.
With that said, generally speaking, AWD cars are usually paved road cars, and 4WD are usually more rugged for trails and off road.
4WD cars seem to have more control in how to use the 4WD, whereas AWD usually is all done automatically.
If there are any specific cars you are looking at, feel free to ask back.
The previous year is often a great option to save a dime. But it is important to look at the overall make and model.
Those are just marketing words. What matters is the equipment that is actually on the vehicle.
Not all AWD's are the same. Not all 4WD's are the same. And sometimes they're used interchangeably.
It really depends on the vehicle.
For city driving (99% of people), AWD is what you want. Which is what almost all SUV's have.
Would you consider any left over 2023's?
of course why not
