Should I buy a new Mazda

I'm looking at a 2024 Mazda CX 90. I'm not looking at the super charged model but the regular straight 6. I'm hearing that the car is a nice riding and comfortable car, however, I'm also hearing that the engine is crammed into the compartment and it's a nightmare to work on. I hear that they took a point from BMW and put the timing chain in the back of the engine meaning you have to pull the engine to replace it. Do you know anything about this car, a new model, and your thoughts about this question

Thanks

I'm not looking at the super charged model but the regular straight 6.

The regular gas powered version only comes in a turbocharged in-line 6.  There is no supercharged version nor a naturally aspirated in-line 6.   The other version is the plug-in hybrid which comes with a 2.5L naturally aspirated engine.

Unlike timing belts, a timing chain should never have to be replaced if it was designed well and you maintain your vehicle properly.

This vehicle especially with the in-line 6 and the RWD platform is all-new so no one knows how they will hold up over time.  Personally, I wouldn’t be a Guinea pig for the newer model years - if you can wait a few years to see how this model holds up.  Otherwise, look at some other vehicle like a Toyota or Lexus.

Well, I've driven when I was really impressed by the car. Personally, I'm a cheapskate and I'd never spend that kind of money, but it looks like it'll be a pretty good car
