We just bought a 2024 Rav4, automatic transmission, 454 miles on odometer. When shifting between park and reverse; or, reverse to park, there is a loud whining noise. You can hear it inside and outside of the vehicle. Covered under the warranty. Should we be concerned.

Well I would be concerned it shouldn't make any noise at all. Record it, take it in and tell him you want that wine gone. Toyota's quality doesn't seem to be as good as it used to be
