Hi Scotty. I recently purchased a new 2024 Frontier. I have a question about the GDI engine. Do you recommend running any type of fuel additive to keep the injectors clean and the intake valves clean. I understand there can be a problem with carbon buildup due to the fuel being sprayed directly into the cylinder and bypassing the intake. I purchased this vehicle because of the fact that it is one of the few remaining pickup trucks that have a naturally aspirated engine. I do not want a turbo on a gasoline engine. Where the newer ones have less problems than the older ones with buildup. What you want to do is use quality gasoline and change your engine oil and filter every 5,000 mi with pure synthetic oil and you probably won't have any problems
