I'd appreciate anyone's input that is familiar with the Ram 1500 choice of switching to an Inline 6. They offer more torque and have history of being a work horse ("bullet proof") for an engine. However, in today's modern truck designs I remain suspicious and worder if they're moving with a good engine design, as well as a redesign for the frame and chassis to handle the more power for towing? Also, I'd like to have an engine that has a long history of reliability, but don't want to be fooled with what they're classifying as an inline 6 (could be gaslighting).
Remain suspicious and question everything 😉

Any reliability gained from from having an inline 6 is negated by it being turbocharged. And it's a Stellantis product.
