What is the most reliable six-cylinder car

Hello, I want a sedan car with a six-cylinder engine and with a rear wheel drive system, I want it to be Few malfunctions, and in to be high reliability at less than $10,000 and fit for New Jersey streets regardless of its cohesion on the snow, The year of manufacture does not matter, please suggest some of these cars and thank you.😊

Probably best would be a Plymouth Valiant or Dodge Dart with slant-six engine and Torqueflite transmission.

Interesting spec sheet. There was a recent discussion here on the GM 3800 Series II engine and associated applications. Take a look at the search bar.

I'm partial to the 2JZ inline 6 cylinder from the Toyota Supra, and variants also powered the Toyota Crown and the Lexus IS300 and GS300. But these cars would be like 3 decades old.

Otherwise I would look into a naturally aspirated V6 from Toyota from the past 10 years, like the Camry.

 

The OP wants rear drive, so cars like the Camry are not what he's looking for.

Ahhh. I forgot about part. I totally saw that nuance, hence why I offered the 2JZ option, but then forgot about it. Thanks for the heads up.

If you want something fairly modern with an inline six and rear drive a late 1990s 2-wheel-drive Jeep Cherokee might be something to consider.
