A few months ago I bought my first car, a 2004 Toyota Avalon xls with less than 100 miles. I'm extremely happy with it, it has no issues and works great. But I'm getting very bad mpg, hovering around 10 mpg... Which is extremely disappointing. I had the car checked out by a reliable mechanic and he hasn't been able to find any issues. Please help.

I hope I know how to read it correctly. It says the following:
LONGFT1 20.3
SHRTFT1 2.3
SHRTFT2 - 3.1
LONGFT2 - 27.3
That shows that engine bank #1 is running way too lean. The +20.3% figure shows the computer is desperately trying to add more fuel. On the other hand, engine bank #2 is running very rich, the -27.3% figure showing the the computer subtracting lots of fuel.
Those figures alone shows things are out of whack, and that's without even going a little further and checking sensor outputs. The mechanic you went to didn't think this was an issue? If so you need to find a better mechanic.

Could be a vacuum leak in bank 1 and drippy injectors in bank 2 but that's just a wild guess. That car is 20 years old, could be a lot of things. You need a mechanic who will give the car more than a cursory look and can dig into the data with a fancy scan tool to see what's going on. Stay away from dealers and chain shops, they tend to be the worst.
