Scotty- my Mother is looking to buy a used SUV for 20k max. She only driving around 5k miles per year (groceries and church). What options would you recommend?
For that kind of work, she doesn't really need an SUV, but if she really likes an SUV, a nice Rav4, CR-V, Forester or CX-5 can be worth considering.
Consider a crossover instead of a full size SUV. The RAV4 or CRV would be good choices.
does she really need an SUV? How much grocery is she buying?? They're more expensive, which means you can get a better small car for the same price.
How old is your Mom? If she is of the older generations, I recommend looking for a RAV4 or CRV that uses a key, instead of push button start.
Heck, no matter what you go with, make sure it has a key. And also, a shift lever, instead of those dials or button shifters.
Old people get really confused with the modern push button start and weird shifters.
I hate push button start too and the button shifters and I am not old.
