Hey Scotty, I enjoy your content. My 2022 Toyota Corolla hatchback se nightshade that I bought new is making a squeak sound when pressing the gas pedal, and will sometimes jolt with the sound. It happens at stop signs, when doing a rolling stop, and when parking. It’s not from the breaks, doesn’t happen when breaking. It’s always related to the gas pedal. It currently has 36k miles, all services performed on time, brought it to Toyota 4 times, they are playing down the seriousness, saying that it’s normal. This is not normal I’ve never had a car do this before. I’ve had a Prius, Toyota tried to blame it on the cvt. The car is an automatic, never been in an accident. What do you think is causing this? Transmission or something else?
Well, you have to pinpoint that squeak let's say it's coming from the pedal itself. That would mean your accelerator pedal is making noise. You can put a little lubricant on the bushings that way. See if that takes it away. But you do have to pinpoint where the sound comes from. First, see my video finding the source of car noises on YouTube
