I have a 95 Roadmaster. I 've been told I must use an AC Delco Accuspark. Can I use an aftermarket ignition? If yes, Which aftermarket is worth buying if factory is not available?

What part of the ignition system do you need? If it's the control module the AC Delco part is available.
I don't have a problem yet but a friend with a 96 just had his Accuspark die . I want a backup just in case. I thought it was all one part.
